This was our first event using securable mini-kites – effectively padlocked to objects. On the plus side, these seemed to be reasonably non-peripatetic; however; they are also reported to be occasionally difficult to locate – you really have to be exactly in the right place to find the control. We will learn from this experience and make the control sites more obvious in future.
I hope everyone still had a nice day – at least no-one had to go into the undergrowth.
Thanks to Karen, Ken and Janet for helping.
