Calder Wood seems to have been a revelation, even to people living very 
close by: the relative inaccessibility created by the Murieston and 
Linhouse Waters meant this is a woodland previously unvisited by most.

Despite being the first event in Scotland operating under the new BOF 
Membership criteria, this appears to have had little impact on 
participants.

I would like to thanks all the Interlopers (and others) who helped on the 
day, and especially those who came to help without wishing to compete. 
The event simply would not happen without you all.

I would spefically like to apologise to Mr Nixon of The Presidential 
Decorating Company, for my part in the misunderstanding whereby he was 
unaware that his company's policies would be used for the event assembly.
We are especially grateful that he allowed the download etc to complete.
